Each provider updates independently. If a feed cannot be reached, earthaster may show the last report stored on your device and label it as saved. Check the source status in the app, then try Refresh all sources when connected.

The globe loads bundled code and requests map imagery over the network. Check your connection, reopen the Earth tab, and use Reopen globe if that button appears. If it stays blank, email us the app and iOS versions and a screenshot. The saved list may still be available.

No. Its global Blue Marble background is a historical NASA mosaic. Some event details may show dated NASA regional imagery or USGS charts, with source credits beside them.

No. They indicate approximate regions named in article headlines. Read the publisher’s story and official reports for the actual location and context.

No. Feeds may be delayed or incomplete. Follow local authorities and emergency services for warnings and instructions.

The last stored reports and your saved items remain available. New reports, map imagery, place searches and external websites need a connection; the bundled globe can use its fallback image when online imagery is unavailable.

Your saved library is local to the iPhone. Remove individual items in Saved, or choose Delete App to remove the local library from the device. Offload App keeps app data; iOS backups are managed separately in device settings. Read the privacy policy for details.

Send us the event name, source, timestamp and what appears wrong. The original source link in the app is the best reference. Please also report urgent factual errors to the source provider.
